The socio-cultural long-term project “Kühlhaus Görlitz” shows a way how empty industrial buildings can be used sensibly and in an alternative way with the help of civic engagement. Here, people of different ages meet to enjoy the peace and to learn and work together – a kind of fusion of art, culture, work, and education with leisure activities.
